Il y a bien s\u00fbr des mod\u00e8les qui proviennent de constructeurs naissants, comme Rivian, mais les marques que l\u2019on conna\u00eet bien pr\u00e9parent aussi la table pour une petite r\u00e9volution \u00e9lectrique.<\/p>\n<p>Chez GMC, comme ce fut le cas chez Chevrolet, on a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 le mod\u00e8le \u00e0 venir, la solution envisag\u00e9e pour s\u00e9duire les amateurs. Le mod\u00e8le, b\u00eatement baptis\u00e9 Sierra EV, va faire ses d\u00e9buts en 2024 aux \u00c9tats-Unis sous la forme d\u2019une \u00e9dition de lancement, puis suivre en 2025 sur notre march\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>R\u00e9cemment, GMC a d\u00e9voil\u00e9 la version am\u00e9ricaine, ce qui nous permet d\u2019avoir une bonne id\u00e9e de ce qui nous attend. Voyons quelques-uns des \u00e9l\u00e9ments qui ont retenu l\u2019attention.<\/p>\n<h2>GMC Sierra EV : \u00c0 quoi s&rsquo;attendre<\/h2>\n<p>D\u2019abord, le mod\u00e8le attendu va reposer au sommet de la gamme, si bien qu\u2019il offre tout ce qui sera propos\u00e9 \u00e0 travers la gamme une fois celle-ci compl\u00e9t\u00e9e. Le mod\u00e8le \u00ab\u2009premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition\u2009\u00bb sera vendu autour de 107\u2009000\u00a0$ am\u00e9ricains, pour vous donner une id\u00e9e. Des versions \u00e0 50\u2009000\u00a0$ suivront, mais on ne sait trop \u00e0 quel moment.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"green-text\">Composantes et architecture<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Pour ce qui est de l\u2019architecture, le Sierra EV repose sur la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gm.ca\/fr\/home\/commitments\/electrification.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">plateforme Ultium<\/a> d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e pour quantit\u00e9 de produits de la General Motors. Avec le Sierra, sa capacit\u00e9 de 800 volts fait qu\u2019elle peut offrir des possibilit\u00e9s int\u00e9ressantes pour la recharge, notamment sur une borne de 350 kW (complicit\u00e9 d\u2019un chargeur int\u00e9gr\u00e9 de 19,2 kW). En gros, GMC promet la r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration de 160 kilom\u00e8tres d\u2019autonomie en seulement une heure!<\/p>\n<p>Puis, parce qu\u2019une interface bidirectionnelle sera possible, le Sierra EV pourra renvoyer de l\u2019\u00e9nergie \u00e0 votre demeure, ce qui peut s\u2019av\u00e9rer fort utile lors d\u2019une panne de courant, si courte soit-elle. En cas de cataclysme, les appareils essentiels du domicile pourront \u00eatre aliment\u00e9s pendant 21\u00a0jours par un v\u00e9hicule pleinement charg\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Mieux, une capacit\u00e9 de 10,2 kW pour l\u2019usage d\u2019outils et d\u2019appareils est int\u00e9gr\u00e9e au v\u00e9hicule et des prises sont pr\u00e9sentes un peu partout, y compris \u00e0 la caisse. D\u2019abord, au style diff\u00e9rent et distinct du mod\u00e8le. GMC ne voulait pas que la version \u00e9lectrique du Sierra ressemble \u00e0 celle \u00e0 essence. Ce ne sera pas le cas.<\/p>\n<p>Puis, parce qu\u2019on a affaire \u00e0 un mod\u00e8le \u00e9lectrique, des distinctions \u00e9videntes sont pr\u00e9sentes. D\u2019abord la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019un coffre facilement accessible \u00e0 l\u2019avant en raison de la configuration du design. Celle-ci fait en sorte que la partie qui serait normalement la grille se soul\u00e8ve avec le capot.<\/p>\n<p>Puis, \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re, la bo\u00eete a \u00e9t\u00e9 pens\u00e9e pour \u00eatre fonctionnelle. Ce sera possible avec le mode Max Power, ce qui laisse croire \u00e0 un peu moins de capacit\u00e9s avec les autres r\u00e9glages (Normal, remorquage et conduite hors route).<\/p>\n<p>Pour ce qui est de la capacit\u00e9 de remorquage, elle est de 9500\u00a0livres (1300\u00a0livres pour la charge utile). Il sera int\u00e9ressant de voir le pourcentage d\u2019autonomie que l\u2019on perdra en tirant une charge. Chez GMC, on mentionne que les effets seront semblables \u00e0 la diff\u00e9rence que l\u2019on voit avec un mod\u00e8le \u00e0 essence.<\/p>\n<p>Et pour cette autonomie, elle sera de 644\u00a0km, ou 400\u00a0miles si vous pr\u00e9f\u00e9rez, un chiffre qui \u00e9tait l\u2019objectif de GM avec ses camionnettes \u00e9lectriques.<\/p>\n<p>Du reste, il faudra bien voir ce que \u00e7a va donner sur la route.
