And the question of autonomy is becoming less and less of an issue, as the vast majority of new models available offer at least 350 kilometers of capacity, if not a minimum of 400.<\/p>\n

To get more, however, one must climb up the range, but still, there are several affordable models that offer more than 400 kilometers. Here are the 10 electric vehicle models that offer the most autonomy at the beginning of 2022.<\/p>\n

1. Lucid Air: 837 KILOMETERS OF AUTONOMY<\/h3>\n

\"v\u00e9hicule<\/p>\n

The Lucid Air was presented last year and made its debut before the start of the new year. It is not yet widely spread on the roads and it is not cheap, but to date, no other vehicle comes close to its all-electric autonomy.<\/p>\n

With a full charge, this spectacularly styled car can cover 837 kilometers. It has to be admitted, that's pretty interesting and a long way ahead of any competition.<\/p>\n

2. TESLA MODEL S: 652 KILOMETERS OF AUTONOMY<\/h3>\n

The Tesla Model S needs no introduction, as it truly launched the brand when it arrived on the market just over 10 years ago. In the Long Range version, it offers 652 kilometers of autonomy, which is sufficient for a Montreal-Quebec round trip. Few electric vehicles can boast of being capable of this.<\/p>\n

3. TESLA MODEL 3: 576 KILOMETERS OF AUTONOMY<\/h3>\n

Next on the list is the Tesla Model 3 sedan. This one, also in the Long Range version, offers a total autonomy of 576 kilometers in its configuration with maximum electric capacity.<\/p>\n

4. TESLA MODEL X: 560 KILOMETERS OF AUTONOMY<\/h3>\n

Moving on to the Californian brand's SUV, the capacity is lower but still very interesting at 560 kilometers. Always pay attention to the model versions, as Tesla offers different configurations. For example, you can opt for a more powerful variant, but offering a little less autonomy. This is usually the case with all electric models.<\/p>\n

5. MERCEDES-BENZ EQS: 563 KILOMETERS OF AUTONOMY<\/h3>\n

With a range of 350 miles, or 563 km, the new EQS sedan is making a big splash at Mercedes-Benz. In fact, this car is the first in a series that will be launched within the group's electric division, EQ. In addition to offering a very attractive range, the EQS is intended to be one of the most luxurious cars in the industry, drawing inspiration from the brand's flagship, the large S-Class.<\/p>\n

6. GMC HUMMER EV: 530 KILOMETERS OF AUTONOMY<\/h3>\n

It has just been launched in the United States where it is already on sale. Its debut will take place towards the end of the year in Canada. What we know is that one of the versions of the Hummer will have one of the best electric capacity. Indeed, a variant is expected to offer 329 miles, equivalent to 530 kilometers.<\/p>\n

9. RIVIAN R1S: RANGE OF 509 KILOMETERS<\/h3>\n

Rivian offers us two vehicles for now, including the R1S SUV which is not yet on the market. Brother of the already accessible R1T model, it will offer 319 miles of range, which is equivalent to 509 kilometers.<\/p>\n

The other model from Rivian<\/a> is the R1T pickup truck. The first models are already on the road and offer their new owners a range of 505 kilometers. This is very interesting and completes our ranking of the top 10 vehicles with the longest range.<\/p>\n
